I've already bought two of this kind in the past 6-8 months. This works only for a couple of months at its best and starts failing with loose contact and stop working one fine day. This is so irritating. I would rather go for an HP genuine power adapter.

I had to replace my original plug and this was a good deal, but the cord was half the length as my orginal one. I think this is a good product, but you will have to sit close to the outlet or you will need an extention cord to compenstate for the addtional feet.
